Of Humanity

I don't know how to exactly write this post, I don't even know what to start it with. I hope this makes sense, well at least I hope at the end, you'll get the message that I intended to deliver. I was watching the 18th episode of Bones Season 8. It was the scene where Agent Booth interrogated a prime suspect of a murder, who was an RUF (Revolutionary United Front) general - the man responsible for recruiting thousands of child soldiers in Sierra Leone during the Sierra Leone Civil War. The suspect wasn't admitting to be the person the FBI agent claimed he is. So Booth then said, "Okay, so here are your choices..." "You either confess to this murder, and you're tried here or... we deport you back to The Hague,  where you have to answer to 17 counts of crimes against humanity ... for which you've already been indicted ." By the time Booth said 'crimes against humanity' , my chest hurt and my heart just broke, and by the...

The Prestige of Prague

Another break of the term, another place to discover. After comparing flight deals for a few places to go during our winter break, we finally settled for Prague, which I believe wasn't a bad idea at all. Instead, we loved it so much that both my partner and I agreed that we had a really chill and exciting moment while travelling this time, alhamdulillah. If you haven't heard of this city before, you might be wondering what is there to see in Prague? (or you might even wonder where Prague is in the first place haha) Prague is not a country, but it's a capital and the largest city of a European country named Czech Republic. Sounds not familiar? Czech Republic or 'Česká republika' in Czech language, is located between Germany and Hungary in Central Europe (at least that's the way I explained it to my family, hihi) Why don't I say between Germany and Slovakia ? Well, read more below to find out ;) Česko or CR was a part of Czechoslovakia, or '...

2018 'WandeRewind'

Hey guys, how's the new year going ? I hope everyone had a good start of the new season and hopefully things will always be great for all of you as time flies. Yes, time has passed very quickly during the past year too. Little did I realise that I have actually traveled to 22 cities and 8 countries (including England) in the span of a year, yet I didn't write about most of them, huhuhu So this post is not going to be all about my travel experience because that is definitely going to be way too long to compile in one post. I initially wanted to make a summary on all 22 cities I have visited but I realised that it is just ridiculous, hence here's a 'rewind' of 7 cities I have wandered in 2018 in England; the 2018 WandeRewind!! (hmmm this sounds like a start of a new series hoho) 1. Bath, England Roman Baths entrance I went to Bath in January last year. It was a day trip with a group of students from different universities, and I went there with a fri...
