We Care

I just came into the washroom when I heard somebody weeping at the sink area. Not long after, another girl came in and they started talking to each other. The girl who cried was ranting impatiently, but I didn't intend to eavesdrop hence the only phrase I could clearly comprehend out of the conversation was " My life has been constantly shit. " I stood quietly, having no idea what her life problem was, but the fact that I was in the washroom reminds me of a post by @orphancare on their Instagram about a teenager who died after giving birth in a toilet in her own house. She must have had a tough time too, or even worse. The unfortunate baby didn't get the first chance to live as his mom let go of her second chance to begin a new life. A new beginning? Something that might sounds easy to say, but God knows how much it takes to even make a first step. Though it might be a bit too late for me to say this, but I believe they deserve a better ending. Dear Fear, Why Are You Here?

December 13th, 12.13pm I remember telling myself that afternoon that I have less than one hour to prepare for a 15 minutes individual presentation, so I should be able to run about three practices before heading to uni. "Hi everyone, today I am going to tell you..errr...present to you...errr...." Wait what should I say really.... While heading to Tavistock Square where the UCL Department of Security and Crime Science is located, I still took the time to review the slides on my phone and prepare for at least, the introduction. I noticed that some people started to look at me as I was 'pr

2018 'WandeRewind'

Hey guys, how's the new year going ? I hope everyone had a good start of the new season and hopefully things will always be great for all of you as time flies. Yes, time has passed very quickly during the past year too. Little did I realise that I have actually traveled to 22 cities and 8 countries (including England) in the span of a year, yet I didn't write about most of them, huhuhu So this post is not going to be all about my travel experience because that is definitely going to be way too long to compile in one post. I initially wanted to make a summary on all 22 cities I have visited but I realised that it is just ridiculous, hence here's a 'rewind' of 7 cities I have wandered in 2018 in England; the 2018 WandeRewind!! (hmmm this sounds like a start of a new series hoho) 1. Bath, England Roman Baths entrance I went to Bath in January last year. It was a day trip with a group of students from different universities, and I went there with a fri
