It's that season again - the season of waiting anxiously for university offers for A-Levels and IB students aka UK prospective students! Being surrounded by these future undergraduates, I cannot help myself from not being anxious about the offers too!  I don't really know how does it feel to wait for such a long time for an offer since I only applied for three universities and I actually got my most anticipated offer in November, so...I can say it didn't really get into me that much, alhamdulillah. Another break of the term, another place to discover. After comparing flight deals for a few places to go during our winter break, we finally settled for Prague, which I believe wasn't a bad idea at all. Instead, we loved it so much that both my partner and I agreed that we had a really chill and exciting moment while travelling this time, alhamdulillah. I just came into the washroom when I heard somebody weeping at the sink area. Not long after, another girl came in and they started talking to each other. The girl who cried was ranting impatiently, but I didn't intend to eavesdrop hence the only phrase I could clearly comprehend out of the conversation was " My life has been constantly shit. " I stood quietly, having no idea what her life problem was, but the fact that I was in the washroom reminds me of a post by @orphancare on their Instagram about a teenager who died after giving birth in a toilet in her own house. She must have had a tough time too, or even worse. The unfortunate baby didn't get the first chance to live as his mom let go of her second chance to begin a new life. A new beginning? December 13th, 12.13pm I remember telling myself that afternoon that I have less than one hour to prepare for a 15 minutes individual presentation, so I should be able to run about three practices before heading to uni.
